Darn Apple Fans

Sigh, the line to enter the Apple retail store was too long. My parents weren’t going to wait two hours for me. Hopefully the retail stores will do some good for Apple. CompUSA did a poor job at displaying and selling Macintoshes.

Countdown To Apple Store

Yahoo! Just 12 hours till the grand opening of Apple’s first retail stores. Time to brave the crowded Glendale Galleria. This will be one awesome summer if I can get a job there.

Penguins and Orcas

Sometimes I feel as if I’m a penguin swimming among a herd of orcas. Disguised to look and act like one of them, I am always fearful that they might see through my deception and attack me. Along my journey, I see other penguins like me, in disguise and swimming with fear. Some brave penguins have proudly discarded their disguise and faced the wraith of the attacking orcas. The lucky ones survived without a scratch, while others have become matyrs. There is a legend of some far off island where we can free to discard our disguises without fear of retalation. But alas I only see a vast expanse of ocean full of orcas. Maybe someday I’ll find this island, but not today.

Carded For A Movie

I was asked to show my ID when trying to buy tickets to a R-rated movie. The girl at the ticket counter was astonished when she looked at my ID. “I’m sorry, but you looked SO young!” she said as she handed my ID back. How does my parents expect me to act my age when I don’t even look my age.

Tidal Wave

The tidal wave of change is quickly approaching. I must hang on; I can’t give up.

I can’t believe that it’s May already. Time passed quickly. A little too quickly. Six months with paxil and I’m tried of it. I have made progress, but not as fast as I would have expected.
