I think it’s about time I come to terms with my problem. I’m one step closer today. I have told another soul about my problem. It’s nice to know that I have someone to talk to. If anything I think it has made us a little closer. I feel strangely relieved as if the huge weight on my back has lightened a bit.

Went to Century City again. It’s a nice city, pretty classy. My friend says parts of it reminds him of New York. Lots of good looking and well dressed people, which kind of reminds me of Old Pasadena.
We went to watch the Brotherhood of the Wolf. I thought it was a well made movie. Yet another good foreign film. I’m pretty impressed by the cinematography. The three years of French that I took during high school is starting to pay off since my view of the subtitles was obscured by someone’s head.
Why can’t they put subtitles at the top? This movie would make an excellent video game. Lots of hack and slash action, something like Devil May Cry.
School starts tomorrow, sigh. I need to add more classes.
School starts next week. That was one short winter break. I still haven’t gone snowboarding. Sigh. I guess buying that snowboard was a waste of money. What I should have bought was a digital camera. I’m glad they raised minimum wage, but now I’m only making 25 cents above minimum wage. Haha, I think I need a raise so I can buy that camera. Alms for the poor?
MacWorld SF 2002 was over-hyped. Nothing but hype. The new iMac looks pretty interesting. Apple was right, they were beyond the rumor sites. None expected the new iMac to look like that. It’s all good.
I went with my friends to Century City to watch Black Hawk Down. The movie moved me. I nearly cried a few times during the movie. When I got home, I cried. I really think it’s the best war movie I have seen.
The sad truth is that this is the new style of war for the 21st century. We will no longer see large scale wars with tanks a-blazing such as during the Gulf War. The next war will be fought in the streets, among the office buildings and homes, against foes hidden in the darkness. The thing that got to me was seeing that little kid holding a machine gun. Too young to find true love but not too old to know how to kill.
I have great respect for the men and women serving in our armed forces. If the Navy would give me another chance, I would re-enlist within a heartbeat. God bless America.
