I still can’t believe that Spider-Man made that much money. The movie was alright, but I didn’t think it was better than The Matrix or The Fellowship of the Ring. It would be interesting to see how well Attack of the Clones do this weekend. I enjoyed Episode 2. Well, the special effects anyways. The light-saber battle with Yoda alone was worth putting up with the first 2 hours of the film.
A funny thing happened to me before watching Episode 2. Ever since I bought that digital camera, I have been taking it with me wherever I went. I so happened to have it with me when I went into the theater. Thirty minutes before the start of the movie, my friends were joking around, so I thought to myself, I gotta take a snap of that. So I took a snap of them. Then my friend, Yanet, well, she said she wonder if the camera could pick up the screen. So I took a snapshot of it for fun. Mind you, this was over ten minutes before the previews even started, the screen was showing just the usual advertisement slides. A second later, the security guy showed up and requested that I remove the camera off the theater premises or I’ll be arrested. I complied and was escorted out of the theater. Wow, that was emberessing. Good thing I was allowed back in once I got rid of the camera. What surprises me is how fast he showed up. Boy, big brother is watching you. I seriously think they overacted. It’s a camera not a camcorder. If it was a camcorder, I would’ve understand. But a camera? What did they think I was going to do? Constantly take snaps? I doubt I would even get a rate of 1 frame per 5 seconds.
