Today marks the one year anniversary of the release of Mac OS X. Strangely, Apple has been relatively quiet. I’m disappointed.

What the hell ! I’m drunk today. I went over to my friend’s house to get drunk. I drank like 5 shots of Tequilar. I don’t give a damn what my mom gonna think about it cause’ I’m aman for god sake.[1]
Yay! It’s March. I survived February! Mac OS X is nearing it’s one year birthday. I wonder what Apple has in store for us. I’m hoping to get one of those sleek Ti Power Books.
Oh what a difference a year makes. Last year, I had no real friends. After a long day at school, I passed my time surfing the web. At the end of the day, I looked forward to nothing more than sitting alone, in my room, in the darkness, watching primetime television. Adam’s Song was my favorite song and I was full of self-loathing.
1 Haha. I actually had three shots of Tequlia and one Corona. I didn’t write that first paragraph. My friend wrote it while I was buzzed. Haha. Darn it Thao, I’m gonna give you a virus! Just kidding.
MacWorld SF 2002 was over-hyped. Nothing but hype. The new iMac looks pretty interesting. Apple was right, they were beyond the rumor sites. None expected the new iMac to look like that. It’s all good.
It’s just 5 more days till MacWorld SF 2002. On Apple’s site, it reads “Beyond the rumor sites. Way beyond.” Whoa! I wonder what they could be up to? Apple buys out Motorola? Nintendo buys Apple? G5 PowerMacs? LCD iMac? PowerMacs powered with AMD Athlon processors? Whatever is it, this will be BIG. Just 5 more days…
This weekend I joined my fellow macheads on a pilgrimage to the local Apple reseller. Mac OS X 10.1 was released and I had to have it. The slow performance of 10.0 was driving me nuts. I asked the nice lady at Di-No computers for the 10.1 Update. Interesting enough, she wanted proof of ownership. So I showed her my cd and she xeroxed it!
I got a call from the Army asking if I was interested in enlisting. That enlistment bonus sounded tempting. I don’t think I would have qualified after my little fiasco with the Navy. Call me back in two years after I earn my BS degree.
